I’m an artist and illustrator creating romantic, slightly strange, and unapologetically sapphic art inspired by women, mythology, poetry, nature, and old-world imagery.

Everything starts with an idea, a drawing, a cyanotype, or something I simply couldn’t stop thinking about. I turn those pieces into prints, clothing, and objects for people who like their art a little more personal and their home a little less beige.

Von Burgsthaler is an independent art studio exploring women, storytelling, classical imagery, and the strange space between art and everyday life.

The collection moves between handmade cyanotypes, art prints, and clothing. Some pieces are romantic and poetic, others playful, queer, irreverent, or a little dramatic. There’s no single aesthetic rule tying everything together, except a fascination with images that carry a story and things that feel slightly outside the ordinary.

The idea is simple: make art you actually want to live with. Something to hang on your wall, wear out into the world, or keep around simply because you like looking at it.
